Seabus Jackson, son of  Edward and Frances Jackson, inherited his father's home, which in the inventory was called "a spacious mansion with a hall". It is suggested that the hall was a large room used by his father for public meetings. This house was built in 1670, and stood until 1809 when it was demolished.   Seabas Jackson was born at sea on the voyage to america, according to tradition, and his name would suggest that this might be true. He married Sarah, daughter of Thomas Baker.
