Name: Appears he married two women named Mary -- maiden names NEWTON and THAYER. The New England Marriages Prior to 1700 have the following: "JACKSON, Edward & Mary [?THAYER] (not NEWTON); b. 1696; Newton".
Birth: I have found a birth record for a Mary NEWTON but none for a Mary THAYER. When confronted with "millinneum files" versus other documentation, I lean to the other sources.
Marriage: I have found one record of a Mary NEWTON who posted an intent to marry a Matthew TAYLOR. I have attached both marriages. But believe this will turn out to be a first marriage and then a second marriage to JACKSON.

Mary married JACKSON, Edward Sr in 1696 in New England.
