1257 Mortatality Schedule taken in Jefferson, Clayton Co., Iowa, USA. MILLER, John (I239)

1258 Mother: Frances TRAVIS was her step-mother. Possibility her mother was Louisa Jane PEARMAN who was not married. There is a KY birth record that a "Louisa C Pearman" was born 11 Sep 1852 to Larue County, KY. It's possible that Price was related to her mother took this child in. PEARMAN, Corvilla (I1318)

1262 My mother always said that Maxine was the finest quilter she had ever known. I am fortunate that I have a quilt that was made by my mother and quilted by "Aunt Maxine."
-----------------------
I never knew her first name until I saw it on her obituary. I wish I had. I would have asked Aunt Mollie where it came from.

MAY, Elgeta Maxine ✓ (I115)

1263 Name of her father and mother came from the birth record from Quaker Meetings. BEALES, Phebe (I253)

1264 Name: Also found, John Warren Jr
Birth: Also record is year 1522 in Nayland, Suffolk, England and 1555 in Corlio, Suffolk, England.
WARREN, John The Middle II (I1175)

1265 Name: Appears he married two women named Mary -- maiden names NEWTON and THAYER. The New England Marriages Prior to 1700 have the following: "JACKSON, Edward & Mary [?THAYER] (not NEWTON); b. 1696; Newton".
Birth: I have found a birth record for a Mary NEWTON but none for a Mary THAYER. When confronted with "millinneum files" versus other documentation, I lean to the other sources.
Marriage: I have found one record of a Mary NEWTON who posted an intent to marry a Matthew TAYLOR. I have attached both marriages. But believe this will turn out to be a first marriage and then a second marriage to JACKSON.
NEWTON, Mary (I241)

1266 Name: Both Sarah and Susan appear in records but Sarah used the most oftern. Surname spelled SHERRARD and SHARRARD.

Death: Colonial Families of the USA has 19 Jun 1671 as date, but all other sources have 9 Jun.
STEARNS, Isaac (I400)

1269 Name: Given names range from Endennie, Endemile, and Endcinda. Believe Endennie was nickname.
Birth: Poor woman. In the 1860 census she was 2 years older than her husband but life was tough the next ten years -- in 1870, she was six years older.
SCIFERS, Endemile C (I777)

1270 Name: His middle name has been found as "Blaine" but "Blair" or "Blaire" is more likely since that was the middle name of his father. Have not researched where the "Blair" came from.

See the Veterans Schedule - a John Sinclair enlisted in Monroe County. Still not 100% that this is "my" John Blair Sinclair.
SINCLAIR, John Blair ✓ (I201)

1286 North American History (genealogy of the Wells family) pg 135 has brief info on Richard..
Specific to Richard: "... was of Watertown as early as 1640. Married Mary -----. His will, dated Feb 25, 1678-9, proved April 1, 1679, mentions his wife and children.
On p 136 "See Bond's 'History of Watertown,' page 229."

GALE, Richard (I237)

1287 Not all children are born to Hannah CURTIS. I still need to attribute the child to the correct mother for Jeremiah Gore Sr.

The order of birth is as correct as I can make it as of this date: 20 Jul 2019.

Maine became a state on March 15 1820.

On Ancestry, Boston 1807 selectman minutes -- he is approved as surety. Had problems trying to put the record with JGoreJr.

GORE, Jeremiah Jr (I1160)

1288 Not completely sure that the Civil War data is this William Dudley.

He was 23 when he married. Could be a brother of Maranda but this puts this census in the MAYBE category.
DUDLEY, William (I29)

1289 Not in the 1810 census. Patience listed as a widow. BASCOM, Jonathan ✓ (I378)

1290 Not listed in "possible lineage..." under Andrew REED. REED, Henry (I1092)

1291 Not sure of surname spelling -- might be MENNEOKE MENNECKE, Carl (I212228955072)

1292 Not sure this isn't another name for Matilda. I can see how a census take could mistake one for the other. Any neither parent could read or write so wouldn't been able to correct. COFFMAN, Lydia (I846)

1293 Note the date of her death and day of birth of Henry. Hannah probably died during childbirth or shortly afterward.

MORSE, Hannah (I1167)

1294 Note: Any other birth date no matter the source is incorrect. My mother was born when it was a leap year. Her birth on the 27th meant she could have a birthday every year. LIVINGSTON, Erma Beatrice ✓ (I422)

1295 Note: Modified year date to 1690 since p. 81 records in a timeline a baptism date of 9 Oct 1690. HANSMANN, Catharine Elisabeth (I212230162036)
