• Notes

  Have only two references to Buster LIVINGSTON. 1) In a Milan, MO Nov 1941 newspaper tidbit saying that he "and family" had moved to Milan. 2) In a Chillicothe, MO Aug 1927 newspaper that his hand had been crushed while doing road construction. Another article in the same issue says the road was between Chillicothe and Trenton. My mother had mentioned him in a conversation with me. I asked her what his real name was and she did not know. His exact date of birth is unknown. He was old enough in 1927 to be working on a road crew. So, if he was only 16, his birth year would be 1911. Uncle Everett, Mother's youngest full brother was born in 1908. There was a family rumor that another woman, the sister of Frances May, also lived with them and that he impregnated her while Zorada was dying. Could this be a child of that union? That would put the birth date from 1909 to 1911. No record of it in Missouri birth records but their father did not record *any* of his children's births. It's possible that Virginia Frances MAY was *not* his mother since she died in 1920. William LIVINGSTON was not a man true to his wives. Buster may be a nickname.
