New England Ancestors?
Ancestors here before 1800?
Then you probably have New England ancestors.
I’ve been missing a GREAT resource, the Vita Brevis blog from AmericanAncestors.org. I knew about the American Ancestors site since I subscribe to the New England Historic Genealogical Society newsletter. If you join NEHGS, you are subscribed to American Ancestors. Since there is a cost to joining NEHGS, I’ve always looked from afar by reading their weekly newsletter.
And sometime in the past, I obtained a guest account on American Ancestors. Over time, I forgot about it.
Right now I’m very involved in New England research, especially those between 1600-1800.
If you have found ancestors that lived prior to 1800, this is a research area for you. EVEN if they lived in the Carolinas, you may find yourself searching in New England records. It is amazing how FAR our early ancestors traveled.
Are you missing these New England resources too?
